Authorities Investigate Police-Involved Shooting In Paterson

PATERSON, N.J. — The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office confirmed that an off-duty Paterson police officer was involved in an overnight shooting Thursday at a Main Street convenience store.

More details will be released as the investigation at the 7-Eleven on Main and Market street continues, authorities said.

Passaic County prosecutor's detectives and county sheriff's crime scene investigators were among the responders.
